With the working title Letters to Heaven, I’m writing a book with letters addressed to flowers, to my grandmothers, to my water mirror, to Rococo, to the Mondriaan Fund and to my godfather who gave me a fountain pen at my confirmation. With that fountain pen I draw curls from the ink spots that fall in my notebook. The curls move like miracles on my water surface. Colored tears to irrigate eternal growth. You may recognize them from my books Holy Disorders and Den Fluss entlang. At the upcoming PAN art fair you can view these small-format watercolors at Gallery Contour. While writing a Letter to my funny and beautiful sister Charlotte in heaven, I threw colored ink on a white canvas. The sweet peas bloomed. In my latest photo you can see the reflection in the moving water.
